Terrace or garden
Folding-arm, monoblock or cassette systems depending on width, projection and exposure.
Made-to-measure solar protection
Choose the right system, operation, protection and finish for your terrace, balcony, window or business. Professional surveying and installation of Saxun solutions.

Start with the intended use
The right choice does not start with colour. It starts with the area to be shaded, orientation, wind exposure, fixing surface and frequency of use.
Folding-arm, monoblock or cassette systems depending on width, projection and exposure.
Drop-arm, Stor or vertical systems for frontal shade and visual control.
Palillería, veranda or Wind Screen ZIP depending on geometry and enclosure type.
Reinforced and monoblock configurations after checking dimensions, support and wind conditions.
Configuration guide
These five decisions help our adviser prepare a realistic proposal before the technical survey.
Define the area and the sun’s path.
Manual for occasional use or motorised for greater convenience.
The cassette protects the fabric and arms when the awning is retracted.
A visual detail that can also help with low-angle sun.
Confirmed after checking the façade, support, orientation and desired appearance.
The fixing position is not chosen for appearance alone. It depends on the available surface, height, required projection and fixings. The technical visit confirms a safe solution.
The most common fixing where the façade provides suitable support.
Useful beneath slabs or balconies where frontal fixing is unsuitable.
For suitable side openings after checking dimensions and fixings.
Operation
A crank is a simple and reliable solution. A motor adds convenience for frequently used or large awnings and where manual operation is less practical.

Left: manual operation. Right: motorised operation by remote control.
| Manual | Motor | |
|---|---|---|
| Use | Occasional | Frequent |
| Control | Crank | Remote control/pulsador |
| Electricity | Not required | Required |
| Sensors | No | Optional depending on configuration |

Left: the closed cassette conceals and protects the fabric, arms and mechanism. Right: with an open system, the fabric roll, tube, brackets and folded arms remain visible.
Protection when retracted
With a cassette awning, the fabric and components are protected when retracted. It is particularly suitable for exposed façades and when a cleaner appearance is desired.

Front finish
The valance changes the appearance of the awning and can provide extra shade when the sun is low. Availability depends on the model and selected fabric.

From left to right: no valance, straight valance and scalloped valance.
A contemporary appearance and clean lines for minimalist homes and businesses.
A traditional decorative finish often used on balconies, terraces and shops.
A lighter, more technical appearance when no extra frontal protection is required.
Product families
The final solution is selected after checking dimensions, fixing, projection, orientation and wind exposure.

Local service
WindowSol designs, surveys and installs made-to-measure awnings for homes, residential communities and businesses. Our recommendation considers orientation, wind, how the space is used and the condition of the façade.
Clear answers
It depends on the width, required projection, support, orientation and wind. Folding-arm, cassette or monoblock systems are often considered for terraces; the survey confirms the right solution.
A manual awning is simple and needs no electricity. A motorised awning is particularly convenient for large or frequently used systems. The choice depends on size, use and the available power supply.
A cassette protects the fabric and components when retracted. An open system may be sufficient when the building itself shelters the installation.
It is the front strip of fabric. It may be straight, scalloped or omitted. Besides changing the appearance, it can help with low-angle sun; availability depends on the model.
Some motorised systems support sensors and automation. Compatibility must be confirmed for the selected motor, awning model and configuration.
Certain motors and smart-home solutions allow connected control. Availability is confirmed individually according to the selected components and installation.
Consider orientation, hours of sunlight, shade requirements, colour, maintenance and appearance. Our adviser will show the fabrics available for the selected system.
Como orientación puede enviar anchura, salida deseada y fotografías. Para fabricar e instalar, WindowSol realiza una comprobación técnica del hueco, el soporte, los obstáculos y el acceso.
Many systems allow different fixing positions, but compatibility depends on the model, support and fixings. This must be verified during the technical visit.
The price depends on dimensions, system, fabric, operation, cassette, automation, support and installation difficulty. We prepare the quotation after reviewing these details and confirming the survey.
