Selection guide

Which K•LINE window do you need?

The best solution does not depend on size alone. Available opening space, ventilation, terrace access, orientation, wind exposure and everyday use all matter.

Casement

One or two inward-opening leaves. It opens the full aperture and is suitable when there is clear space in front.

Tilt-and-turn

Combines side opening with a top ventilation position. Useful for airing a room without opening the sash fully.

Fixed or top-hung

A fixed pane prioritises light and views. A top opening can provide ventilation in small or high-level openings, subject to feasibility.

Sliding

The panels move along tracks without taking up interior space. Suitable for wide openings, terraces and indoor-outdoor connections.

Windows and balcony doors

Concealed sash and slim profiles: more glass, less frame

In a K•LINE window, the sash is visually integrated behind the outer frame. The aim is to maintain clean lines and increase the glazed area. K•LINE states up to 15% more glazed area than a traditional window with a visible sash.

  • One- or two-leaf casement windows
  • Tilt-and-turn opening
  • Fixed panes and top-ventilation solutions
  • One- or two-leaf balcony doors
  • Visible or concealed hinges depending on configuration

Recessed K•LINE MINIMA SLIDE threshold with a continuous floor

Illustrative visualisation of the continuous-floor detail. The final solution depends on the configuration and the building project.

MINIMA SLIDE · indoor–outdoor continuity

K•LINE minimalism with a threshold integrated into the floor

MINIMA SLIDE minimises the visual presence of the frame. Fixed elements can be recessed into the floor, ceiling and walls, while the floor finish can be integrated into the lower track to maintain visual continuity between the interior and terrace.

  • Perimeter frame almost completely concealed in the construction
  • Large glazed areas with minimal visible profiles
  • Option with the floor finish integrated into the lower track
  • Only the functional guide channels and brush seals remain visible
  • Recessed drainage channel, with or without a grille, depending on configuration
This detail must be designed into the project: feasibility depends on the system, construction levels, floor thickness, waterproofing and drainage. It is not automatically available for every K•LINE sliding system.

Costa del Sol

Glass and solar control: as important as the frame

In Málaga, a well-specified window must manage light, heat, noise and security. There is no single glass specification suitable for every orientation. VentanaSol assesses each façade and combines the K•LINE system with appropriate glazing.

Solar control

Helps limit solar heat gain on exposed elevations. It is specified according to orientation, glass size and external shading.

Low-emissivity glass

Reduces heat loss through the glazing. Its suitability is assessed together with solar control and the cavity.

Acoustic insulation

The noise type and suitable glass thicknesses must be assessed; performance does not depend only on the number of panes.

Laminated glass

Can improve safety in use and resistance to impact. The build-up is selected for each location.

Customisation

K•LINE colours and dual-colour finishes

The general K•LINE Spain colour range includes 30 colours and, depending on the configuration, allows an external colour to be combined with white inside. This can respect the façade design without visually darkening the room.

Distinctive architecture

Special-shape K•LINE windows

The range includes special compositions and frames: arched balcony doors, triangles, trapezoids and multi-element assemblies. They can preserve the character of a property or resolve non-rectangular openings.

What affects feasibility

Dimensions, radius or angles, sash layout, opening, glass, colour, hardware, access and installation complexity. Every geometry must be technically validated before the final quotation.

Clear answers for an informed choice

Frequently asked questions about K•LINE windows

What characterises K•LINE windows?

Their aluminium design uses a concealed sash and slim profiles to give more prominence to the glass. K•LINE states up to 15% more glazed area than a traditional window with a visible sash.

Which opening types are available?

The official range includes one- or two-leaf casement windows, tilt-and-turn windows, fixed panes, top-ventilation windows and balcony doors. Availability depends on dimensions and configuration.

Which sliding systems does K•LINE Spain offer?

The range includes 2- and 3-track sliding systems, Total Vision, MINIMA SLIDE, pocket sliding doors and lift-and-slide systems. Feasible dimensions are checked for the selected system and project.

What is a pocket sliding door?

It is a sliding door whose panels disappear inside the wall when opened. It provides a wider clear opening but requires compatible wall space and specific construction planning.

Can I choose one colour outside and another inside?

K•LINE Spain offers dual-colour finishes on certain configurations: the selected colour outside and white inside. Colour availability depends on the product.

Can arched or triangular windows be made?

The Spanish range includes arched, triangular, trapezoidal and composite structures. Dimensions, geometry, opening and glass must be technically validated.

Which glass is suitable for Málaga?

It depends on orientation, size, shading, noise and security. Solar-control glass is often considered for highly exposed façades; low-emissivity, acoustic or laminated glass may also be relevant.

Can K•LINE windows include roller shutters?

Yes. The Spanish range includes Monobloc roller shutters and different solar-protection and shading solutions. The system, opening and project compatibility must be checked.

Can the threshold of a K•LINE sliding system be integrated into the floor?

Yes. MINIMA SLIDE offers a recessed-track option with a continuous floor: the floor finish covers the fixed-frame area and reduces the visual interruption between inside and outside. Levels, waterproofing and drainage must be designed correctly.

How much do K•LINE windows cost in Málaga?

The price depends on dimensions, opening, glass, colour, hardware, shutters, home automation, access and installation. VentanaSol prepares an estimate after reviewing the project and confirming the survey.

Can I replace an old window with a shutter box?

In many cases, yes, but the box, insulation, support and finishes must be checked. The technical survey determines whether it is retained, replaced or integrated into a new solution.

Where does VentanaSol install K•LINE windows?

We work in Málaga and Costa del Sol locations such as Marbella, Benalmádena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Torremolinos and Estepona, depending on the project.
